Charter for using the BC College of Equine Therapy (BCCET) Student Discussion Forum:
The purpose of the discussion forum:
- To share ideas, information, and specific experiences regarding the Equine Sport Therapy profession as a student or graduate.
- To provide a support group for our classmates and fellow BCCET therapists.
- To discuss classroom work, homework, projects, case studies, and exam preparation.
- To educate and inform others about new products, techniques, nutritional supplements, educational sources, etc.
Rules of Etiquette within the Discussion Forum:
- Be descriptive and provide complete information when posting to your group.
- Treat others in the group professionally and courteously.
- Do not post flames or personal attacks to other users.
- Always try to be constructive and helpful to others within your group.
- Write as you would within a letter using upper and lower case as appropriate.
- Pay attention to spelling, grammar, and tone.
- Always discuss and treat people within your group as you would in person.
- Ask for clarification, or suggest corrections gently -- via mail. Remember that people make mistakes, and so do you.
- If you're truly angry, take a break before responding and get some perspective. It is difficult to convey emotions via an electronic medium. Your message can easily be misconstrued by the others within the group.
Discussion Forum Policies:
- The terms of use shall be as described within the forum’s terms of service rules (coming soon).
- To post a message you must create an account by emailing the BCCET administrator and once you are set up you can login.
- Discussion on comparisons between BCCET students/graduates and other college/program students/graduates should not be held in this discussion forum.
- BCCET Student Discussion Forum administrator reserves the right to remove offensive or non-constructive posts at its sole discretion.
- Messages should be posted in a professional, polite manner as to not purposely offend or insult another person.
- Messages that contain personal attacks, profanity, or advocate software piracy will be removed.
- Advertising, off-topics posts, or spam will be removed.
- Do not post personal e-mail or any other copyright protected documents or information.
Any user that continues to violate this charter or the terms of use can be removed from the discussion groups at the sole discretion of the BCCET forum Administrator.
